What if I don't have health insurance?

Many times, if you are not at fault, the other driver’s auto insurance company will pay all your medical bills with no out-of-pocket costs to you. And, if you happen to be the at-fault driver, many auto insurance plans now come with Medpay or medical payments that can be used to pay for any medical treatments. If you’re not sure, you can always give us a call and we will verify your benefits with the auto insurance company.

I went to the ER - do I still need to come in?

Yes — absolutely. ER physicians focus on life-threatening injuries and send patients home with pain medication. Soft tissue injuries to the neck and spine often appear days later and are almost never addressed in an ER. Our team does a complete musculoskeletal workup and documents everything properly.

How soon after my accident should I come in?

As soon as possible — ideally within 72 hours. Gaps in treatment give insurance companies grounds to argue your injuries weren’t caused by the accident, which can reduce or eliminate your claim. The sooner you’re documented, the stronger your case.

I feel fine right now. Should I still get checked?

Yes. Adrenaline after an accident masks pain, and soft tissue injuries commonly take 24–72 hours to fully appear. If you wait until you feel symptoms, you’ve already lost documentation time. A quick evaluation now protects your recovery and your claim no matter what happens next.
