Conditions & Disorders Treatable with Chiropractic Care

The following bullet list below shows conditions and disorders that are treatable with chiropractic care. Some are injury-related, some hereditary, some chronic, and some are caused by what are called subluxations. A subluxation is the misalignment of the vertebrae and can aggravate nerves or organs, resulting in diseases.

A Multidisciplinary Approach to Care

How Southwest Spine & Rehab Increases Effectiveness with Combination Therapies

Although all of the conditions listed above are treatable with chiropractic care, we generally achieve even better results thanks to our multidisciplinary approach.

At Southwest Spine & Rehab our goal is to treat the cause and not just the symptom. To effectively achieve this for certain conditions, we will implement what we refer to as combination therapies. A “combination therapy” is when 2 practical techniques are combined to achieve faster and better results.

For example, when treating a calateral epicondylitisse, more commonly known as tennis elbow, we might combine chiropractic, physical medicine, and radial pressure wave therapy. While chiropractic care may have been 70% effective, the combination of treatments can significantly increase the effectiveness to maybe 90%, and in many cases accomplish total healing (which is always our goal).

Chiropractic Care for Sports Injuries

Sports injury rehabilitation helps alleviate pain, regain mobility, and restore joint function after sustaining sports-related injuries. Sports injuries may cause inflammation or trauma to the body from muscle injury and misalignment of bones and joints. This can affect the tendons, ligaments, and muscles causing discomfort, pain, a decrease in performance, and even long-term health issues if not tended to immediately. What Is Chiropractic Care?

Chiropractic care is a holistic health practice that provides safe, natural pain relief from auto accident injuries, sports injuries, back pain, neck pain, subluxation, herniated disc, migraines, and a wide range of other chronic pain issues. It is safe, non-invasive, non-surgical, and effective.

What is Manual Therapy?

Manual Therapy is a technique used to correct the alignment of the spine, including function and motion.  It works on four fronts: psychologically, biochemically, neurophysiologically, and mechanically. It is effective for treating back pain, neck pain, soft tissue injuries, and other common pain issues.

What is Spinal Decompression?

Spinal decompression gently lengthens and realigns the spine, reducing pressure on the discs and nerves. This helps relieve painful symptoms associated with conditions like herniated discs, spinal stenosis, degenerative discs, nerve compression, lumbar disorders, lumbar strains, sciatic neuralgia, injury of the lumbar nerve root, arthritis, lower back pain, degenerative joint disease, myofasctois syndrome, disuse atrophy, lumbar instability. post-surgical back pain, and acute lower back pain.

Can Chiropractic Care Help with Pain?

Yes. Chiropractic can be an important pain management asset and is especially effective at treating any conditions related to the musculoskeletal system. In light of the painkiller addiction epidemic across the US, chiropractic care provides a safe and effective alternative to manage pain. Consider chiropractic care to treat your chronic pain issues and avoid the potential drug addiction dangers.
